Charles van Sandywk At Geoffrey Gardens
On July 22, 2021, Hornby Arts hosted writer and illustrator Charles van Sandwyk reading from his new collections at Geoffrey Gardens on Hornby Island, BC. CvS is known for his whimsical pen and watercolour drawings, in which he renders the immense detail of dream birds and fairy citizens. Greatly inspired by his childhood in Africa and later years spent in Fiji, CvS' poetry and art books bring together the tradition of fairytale stories with the naturalist's eye.
